April 2013: RX for Relief
I have lived in Marin County, Calif., for 45 years, and I celebrated my 43rd AA birthday April 8, 2011. Since that time, I’ve suffered from different health issues, but I’ve kept up with my AA meetings and stayed close with AA friends and my sponsees.
Recently my youngest son, who is also in the program, mentioned during a phone conversation that he had just finished a Fourth and Fifth Step with his sponsor—about his business—and how much it had helped him. He then suggested that it might be helpful to me if I do an inventory around my health issues and my doctors.
