It's time for our annual photo contest
Each year, the Grapevine holds a competition for photographs
to be featured in our Wall Calendar. We'd love to see your most
striking photographs: slice-of-everyday-life images, interesting
close-ups, animals or flowers, views of small towns or big cities,
humorous or quirky situations, stunning or moody landscapes and
seascapes, unusual abstracts, or personal moments in time. Contributors
of photos selected for the Wall Calendar will receive complimentary
copies of the 2010 Calendar and the Pocket Planner.
- Submit color photographs, either prints, slides, or digital files,
suitable for reproduction. Electronic submissions must be accompanied
with printouts.
- No portraits or identifiable faces.
- Write your name, address, phone number, and location of
the photograph on the back of each submission.
- Entries must be postmarked by March 1, 2009.
- Entries become the property of the Grapevine and cannot be returned. Entries
also may be considered as magazine covers or illustrations.
Submit digital images on CDs, along with printouts. Include all information
as specified above. Please note: Digital files must be accessible as highresolution
files for print reproduction - 300 dpi (minimum) for a reproduction size of
9" x 12" or compressed Picture Viewer documents that can be opened and saved
at this reproduction size.
