It's simple, once you know where to look
Pull up a chair; I have a story to share with you. I was almost two years sober in AA, and I was happily married, I thought. We had a one-year-old son. One night, I came home from a meeting all smiles, and my wife flat out said, “I’m leaving you.” I said, “What?” She said, “I’m leaving you for someone else in the program.” I couldn’t believe it. I just couldn’t understand. We had been together since we’d been kids, and she was leaving. In five minutes, my whole world came crashing down. Just like that!
