A member shares his thoughts on anonymity and how nice it is to give quietly
TRADITION TWELVE: Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
Many years ago, I was told that whenever I’m sharing, I must always be aware of the miniskirt principle. When I asked what that was, I was told that it had to be “short enough to attract interest but long enough to cover the bare essentials.” So, in writing this article on the principles of anonymity, I shall attempt to follow this principle.
