Keeping the Door Open
An AA makes sure the meeting space is open on Christmas
It was Christmas Eve and I'm was on an AA mission. Our clubhouse had almost shut the door on our Saturday night meeting but I planned on keeping the door open.
I'm getting old and slowing down and I don't have enough energy to get around much. When I went through the church door, the husband and wife minister team, who were our greeters that Christmas Eve, barely interrupted their conversation to shake my hand.
