Prior to getting sober, my kids used to hide in the closet when I came home. I wasn’t the greatest dad and was drinking constantly. Now I’ve just celebrated four years of sobriety and I am continually amazed at how good life is and continues to be. The small things in life continue to amaze me.
The other day my 9-year-old daughter came to me, excited that she had a loose tooth. I looked in wonder and noticed that the loose tooth was one that already had a silver cap on it. I told her that the Tooth Fairy gave out a lot of money for teeth with silver on them and that excited her... Login to read more
