STEP THREE: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Last Thursday, when I was diagnosed with melanoma cancer, my immediate thoughts went to acceptance and the Third Step Prayer. How in the world does that happen to someone who, just two years and 10 months ago, used alcohol as the answer to everything?
