He found out the hard way to set romantic boundaries before the sunsets and ice cream arrive

To celebrate my 20th year of sobriety, I attended the Honolulu AA roundup. on the very first day I met someone, and it was lust at first sight. We ended up spending the night together. By morning, I felt wildly in love and certain the feeling was mutual. I did not have a history of falling in love at the speed of light. I thought my feet were firmly planted on the ground as I ran through my list of qualities I wanted in a partner, my “romantic ideal,” written as part of a recent Fourth Step.
