Many nights after the bar had closed, he’d still be downing whiskey shots. Oh yeah...the wife and kids

In the spirit of our Ninth Step Promise— We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it—I’d like to share what has, thus far, been my most memorable and meaningful resentment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a resentment and it caused me considerable turmoil at the time. But in true AA fashion, I’ve mined the silver lining inside this cloud and discovered rich lessons in the poor behavior exhibited by a fellow AA member.
